We own, operate and provide technical management for a fleet of modern, new generation and technologically advanced offshore vessels that can be deployed on a bareboat or time charter to meet our clients needs in the most difficult environment. We have the flexibility and capability of modifying any of our vessels to suit specific projects, therefore we are always on the lookout for quality assets to be added into our fleet. We can also order or purchase new equipments as determined by sizes, estimated performances and duration of contracts.

Offshore Supply Vessel Solutions
“PECH” provides versatile fleet of Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) and Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) range in length from 190 feet to over 250 feet with large cargo-handling capabilities that can transport personnel and carry multiple products including fresh water, food, fuel, drilling fluids, liquid mud, drill pipe, casings, chemicals, explosives, equipment and a variety of other supplies to and from offshore installations. Our access to a vast fleet of OSV/PSV globally allows customers to focus on special requirements such as dynamic positioning, methanol capability, high volume liquid mud and dry bulk capacities, or to choose the vessels that can handle it all, adding maximum flexibility to their chartered fleet.
All our OSV/PSVs play a fundamental support role in offshore construction, installation, deepwater drilling, maintenance work and production operations and are easily adaptable to serve more specialized client needs.
Fast Support Vessel Solutions
Our Standard Fast Support Vessels (FSV) and Crewboats are primarily used in deepwater activities to support drilling and complex logistics operations. Our FSVs are equally designed to transport people and cargoes in support of drilling and production activities and other offshore projects at relatively higher speed than a traditional supply vessel. These advanced vessels can deliver over 9,000 BHP (brake horsepower) and reach speeds over 32 knots and range in length from 130 to 190 feet.
Customers can match the right FSV to their specific requirements by choosing from an array of advanced features such as dynamic positioning, dynamic ride control, controllable speed propellers (CSP), water jet propulsion and engine monitoring system, high-capacity pumps, boarding ramps to accommodate any dock, environmentally friendly equipment and cargo deck areas outfitted with recessed deck lighting. In addition, our customers can choose to meet their high volume cargo demands by selecting an FSV that can transport over 1,000 barrels of liquid mud, 1,000 to 3,000 cubic feet of dry bulk material, deck cargos from 140 long tons to 425 long tons, fuel, potable water and drill water. We have access to FSV vessels that can accommodate up to 120 passengers with business class seats and various entertainment packages such as satellite television.
Anchor Handling And Towage Solutions
“PECH” offers customized ocean towage solutions for ports, petrochemical and LNG facilities. We provide multi purpose-built Anchor Handling Towing Supply Vessels (AHTS) suitable for deep sea towage, assisting, escort and mooring of large object like Floating Production Storage Offloading Unit (FPSO), FSO, Tankers, Platforms, Drilling Rig, Launch Barges and various ships of every design.
Our AHTS fleet comprises of mainly 8,000 BHP and up to 15,000 BHP class vessels equipped with dynamic positioning (DP) capabilities to cater for the growing demand of deepwater operations. They can also be used for transporting offshore supplies, tanker berthing, un-berthing operations, subsea installations, standby/safety rescue and for specialty operations where they support a variety of non-traditional requirements.
Specialty & Multi-Purpose Vessel Solutions
“PECH” provides specialty vessels that address a broad array of support functions and market sectors. In the offshore Pipe lay and Construction segment, our Pipelay Vessels (PLV) are designed with the function of heavy-lift, pipe laying and subsea installations. Our PLV comes with a high redundancy DP-3 system and 10-point position mooring system which enable heavy lift and pipe-lay operations to be achieved in deep and shallow water areas worldwide. The vessel can accommodate up to 398 persons with full office facilities, recreation room, gymnasium and hospital, providing a friendly and conducive environment for offshore activities. While serving the IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) market, our Offshore Subsea Construction Vessels carry one or more Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), support divers and advanced systems and even assist in the subsea maintenance of trees, jumpers and other underwater production infrastructure.
We also provide dedicated vessels to tender Floating Production Storage and Offloading facilities (FPSOs) while in other areas we play an integral role in the provision of Seismic Vessels for the collection of seismic data and survey.
Our specialty vessels can be used for standby rescue and emergency duties such as firefighting, training, well simulation, oil spill response, personnel rescue, first aid, shelter, and safety patrols for manned offshore facilities and rigs.
Tanker / Ship-To-Ship (STS) Solutions
“PECH” provides marine tanker vessels for the transportation of Crude Oil, Chemical, Gas and Refined Petroleum Products. Our tanker chartering and technical management services include provision of time/spot charter of Product Tankers, LPG Tankers, Chemical Tankers, LNG Tankers, Suezmax and Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) to major international and national oil trading companies such as Shell Trading & Supply, Dangote Oil Refinery. We ensure that vessels selected for our clients employment meets the rigorous safety quality management systems and performance requirements.
We also provide Ship-to-Ship transfer solutions for crude oil, petroleum product, bulk ore and chemical trading customers with strict adherence to all Safety Regulations, Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) and International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) Guidelines.

Lift Boat Solutions
“PECH” provides liftboats to the offshore oil production and construction industry. Our self – elevating work platforms are outfitted with crane capacities of up to 175 tons. Accommodations for third party personnel are available for platform maintenance and repair, workover operations, pipeline repairs, well hook-ups, dive operations, rig tending and salvage operations. We offer a diverse portfolio of liftboats capable of operating in maximum water depths of 250 feet depth.
Each liftboat is equipped with a boatracs system, which provides wireless communication and vessel positioning.
Dredging Solutions
“PECH” provides capital and maintenance dredging, land reclamation, sand stockpiles, canalization, channelization, shore protection works, river crossing, and sweeping works within the Niger Delta region. Our fleet of Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD) enables us to work with efficiency of 300-1200m3/h and deliver dredged sands to a distance of 2000m (2km) with a Booster Station. We also have auxiliary crafts such as tug boats, self-propelled barges, houseboats, pontoon and dredging accessories to support our operations. We have dedicated and experienced personnel that ensures projects are executed in compliance with client’s safety requirement and international safety standard.
PECH also market and sell Multi-purpose Amphibious Excavators and Dredgers to the West African market.
Ship Agency Solutions
At Port Equipment & Cargo Handling (PECH), we undertake full scale agency services to all types of vessels calling at all the Nigerian ports, with particular emphasis on Heavy Lift Vessels, Cargo Ships, Supply Vessels, Oil Tankers and LPG/LNG Tankers loading from export terminals such as Bonny, Port Harcourt, Onne, Escravos and Dangote Oil Refinery.
As your Local Shipping Agent, we provide various support services from crew handling to supply of spares, fuel and provisions. We can arrange for navy and security approvals necessary for any marine vessel to work in the Nigerian or West African territorial waters. Our longstanding professional relationship with Suppliers, Port and Nigerian Immigration authorities ensures efficient vessel turn-around and special preference given to us. Other services include inward and outward clearance of ships, cash to master, temporary import permit, immigration support, entry/exit permit for crew, crew welfare, dry-docking/repair supervision and compliance with government cabotage registrations.
PECH also provide marine supplies and ship chandelling services such as provision of food, bunker fuels, lubricants, gas bottles, fresh water, medical needs and spares to vessels calling at the Ports or offshore Lagos, Cotonou and Lome. We operate 24 hours from our operational bases and ensure prompt delivery of our client’s order using support vessels that are equipped with the latest technology suitable for Sub Saharan Africa terrain. Customs Clearance & Logistics Solutions
We provide competent and efficient freight clearing, forwarding and logistics services in all Seaports and Airports across Nigeria. We are a registered Clearing and Forwarding agent with the Nigeria Ports Authority and also a Licensed Customs Agent with updated knowledge of customs regulations. This enables us to deal directly with the key authorities to ensure swift clearing of goods from the ports without attracting extra charges or demurrage.
We provide assistance from the arrival of the cargo, to customs clearance and through the stacking and racking stage, to final delivery of materials to customer’s designated location. Our key specialty includes customs clearance of commercial goods, oilfield equipments, personal goods, cars/vehicles, heavy lift & construction equipments, refrigerated cargo, vessels and various types of marine equipments on temporary importation.
In partnership with leading and preferred service providers in Nigeria, PECH provides 24 hours integrated logistics support solutions such as haulage, secured port & warehousing facilities, ship repair/overhauls, maintenance and ship yard facilities, camp facilities, bonded terminal operations and project support.
